'Persephone and The Pomegranate'- fine art print
In Greek myth, the pomegranate is the symbolic fruit that binds Persephone to the underworld. Hades gave the pomegranate to a famished Persephone, knowing that eating any food from the underworld would bind her to it forever. She eats a few seeds, obligating her to spend part of the year with him. This pact, often said to be six seeds, leads to the cycle of seasons: when Persephone is in the underworld, Demeter mourns and the earth becomes barren (winter), but when she returns, the earth flourishes (spring and summer).

What is the difference between a print and an Original?
A print is a reproduction of an original piece of art using a high resolution image printed onto smooth top quality paper. All prints have a smooth finish.
An original is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that has been hand painted, using a range of mediums and techniques. All of my originals are created with an impasto technique, leaving the surface textured.

Dispatch:
Made to order. Please allow up to 3 weeks for us to dispatch your art print.
Postage:
Each print is delicately rolled in tissue paper to protect the artwork. It will then be shipped out in a circular cardboard tube and shipped via FedEx.
Print care:
Carefully open with freshly cleaned and dry hands. Frame behind glass as soon as possible for longevity and display in a room free from moisture.
I strongly recommend framing in art glass which will remove reflections and make the art print feel even more luxurious and closer to the original painting.
